A flag confirming you've entered the tool is also saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), so you're not asked to click through the entry screen again on your next visit. The tool never requires an email or account to use it -- an email is stored only in the two places you can choose to enter one: the optional feedback form, or the "Keep me posted" updates box.
The tool runs on a small number of infrastructure providers that process data as part of making it work. None of them see your data for any purpose beyond providing their service to this tool:
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with any other third party, advertiser, or data broker.
Data is kept as long as needed for the tool to function -- for example, search logs are kept to power the trending-questions feature. If you'd like search or feedback history tied to something you sent us deleted, contact us (below) and we'll remove it.
This policy may be updated from time to time as the tool changes. Continued use after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
